A sedge rain hat, mizugoromo (a type of knee-length kimono), kitsuke / dan-noshime (short-sleeved kimono with very wide stripes, worn as the innermost layer of the costumes of male characters of lesser standing), hakama in ōkuchi-style (white), koshi-obi (belt), and a fan. Holding a reed (a pole of bamboo with leaves of iris attached). Mizugoromo taken off during the on-stage change of costume into samurai-eboshi (eboshi headdress for warriors or ori-eboshi) and kake-hitatare (tops of hitatare style kimono), with a belt and a small sword. Holds a fan. |
