An old man visits Shōka Hall, where Emperor Wu lives. He tells court officials that he wants to see the emperor because of an auspicious sign.

The old man tells the emperor about the Taoist sages, the Queen Mother of the West and the medicinal peach fruit that give immortality.

The Spirit of the Peach appears and has a Taoist sage lick the top of its head.

The Queen Mother of the West appears with Tōbōsaku and presents peaches to the emperor.

Tōbōsaku and the Queen Mother of the West dance together to court music staged by the deeply moved emperor.

Tōbōsaku and the Queen Mother of the West continue to dance until the sun starts to set in the west.
